Tire Jacks and.... well can't really think of anything, so just leave it at that. :)

Doubts????  Yesterday I almost had it.  A breakdown almost...ish.  Breakdown as in stress in MY life???  WOAH!!!  The absolute worst of all worstesssesss  happened.  A flat tire on the truck.  I still don't have a spare.  :)  I want to get two new tires, and throw one as the spare.  My spare is TOAST!!!  So I was waiting.  The truck doesn't lift high enough with the jack.  I use two.  I lift it up with one, on 2x4's.  Add more 2x4's, and go higher with another jack, so I can get it off.  It is a FREAKING BITCH!!!  I was like WHAT????  That is the worst.  Everything for good, is it????   I looked inside my heart, and damn if it still wasn't happy.  I was like WOAH!!  I almost had a bit of doubt, but with help I realized, all is still good.  My heart was laughing and singing like a happy bird.  How's that huh???

I was hoping by the time I got home between the two other guys who live in the house it would be done.  YIPES!!!  not quite, but good effort was given.  Tire was fixed, they didn't know my double jack trick I like to do.  :)  Not sure if anyone knew we had more jacks.  We used John Q's jack.  One that goes tall enough for a Jeep SUV.  Still doesn't do my stupid ass truck.  How annoying huh???  I mean it isn't like my truck is one of those big 4x4 trucks with tires that are 8 feet tall.  It is so annoying.  I was glad I was able to get it done though.  :)

So workout wise I biked to work.  I was running a bit behind, so I had to time-trial it to work, and I had to go AGAINST the wind.  UGH!!  Wind normally goes from West to East.  No such luck this day.  I made it on time.  I think I averaged 33 mph.  :)   j/k.  I had to ride home while it was snowing, and did snow a bit prior.  I can go at my own leisure.  It was pretty fun.  After that I fixed the tire.  I was a bit zonked after that, so took a little nap, before my run.  My run I didn't map out yet.  I'll say somewhere between 5.25 and 5.5.  I had to make a pit stop.  Luckily Bob pointed out public restrooms downtown.  They were clean and smelled good too.  Well before the pit stop anyway.   ;)   lol.  So, I ended up not finishing my 2nd loop all the way, and starting my 3rd loop at that point, so I ran the rest of the way with Jerry and Jeff.  Nice easy pace.  Not much under 9:00 I am sure.  Tonight we do speed work.  Helen, the funny teacher lady, and her husband Jim I think ran too.  It was a pretty good run.  It was pretty warm out too.  25 degrees.  Funny how relative all that crap is huh???  I mean you run in the single digits, and all of a sudden 25 feels like the Sahara dessert.  Crazy Crazy.  Tonight we have speed work.  Should be....ugh.....funn'ish??!!!  :)

p.s. It is Jen Parker Harrison's 40th today.  WOOOOOOO!!!!   She has been a huge help to me in ways she probably doesn't even know.  So when things seem a bit strange with people and this blog.  Our "beginning" helps me understand some stuff.  For that I am grateful.  :)  I am also grateful the 40th is finally here.  I feel I have been reading about it for the last 60 years.  lol   :)
