Oh Dear

Well, My friend Mike has gone off the deep end.  There is no helping him.  He signed up for Ironman Louisville.  UGH!!  No turning back now.  It isn't like he just dropped $25 down for a race.  SHEESH!!  For me, it was something out there.  If you segment it into what it is, neither is not undoable, but the totality of it!!!  The time and dedication.... WOW!! 

Mike is a good swimmer.  He'll have to get his biking down, as that took a back seat this year, but gotta try I guess.  Not for me that is for sure.  :)  Good Luck Good Luck!! 

We got a little run in last night.  There was just 4 of us.  Bob and Helen, and the funny teacher lady.  She was the one who was cracking us up when we went out for beers during one of our winter runs.  I forget her name, but man is she funny.  Bob, and I just went out, and did what must have been a 4 mile loop, and the other 2 did their thing.  I guess Bob is going to do Boston in the Spring.  I was surprised, didn't know he wanted to.  He has a 3:10 on his wish-list, but once again he is 3:00 fast.  Good Luck!!

I really don't have too much today I guess.  I started watching a movie called "Shrink" last night.  It is with Kevin Spacey.  It seems really good, and actually realistic as far as life in Hollywood would be.  True life stuff that happens to people.  Believe it or not behind the glamour real life goes on.  Can you imagine the pressure of these people?  Their lives are fabulous to us all.  The pressure to make it ALWAYS look that way.  YIKES!!  No one's life is always perfect.  To put up a charade is not only unhealthy, but dangerous really.  That which we try to show as our good side at the expense of the bad side is really hiding a cancer.  You hold the cancer up to the light it dies.  You bury it, and it spreads, and you become worse off. 

Hmmmm!!  Where does this come from???  Out of nowhere.  :)    That is our journey to rid ourselves of our cancer.  Expose us to the light, and we find our way to becoming clean.  :)
