Then It Hit Me...

Good Morning all.  Things have been strange... well really for a long time, but lately things have been driving me crazy.  Why are people so strange??  Why do they just want to hide???

It hit me this morning though.  You must see this great big Sword flying through the sky.  It is big it is scary, and it looks dangerous, and what can I do about it??  Can I hide from it?? 

The answer is no.  It is  a scary sword, and it is dangerous, and all that stuff.  I know you want to hide from it, because it is a sword that judges.  One of the things we hate the most in life, and we see this big old dangerous thing.  So, maybe if I do this or do that, then the sword will go away, and I will feel better about myself. 

Here is what you have to do.  You have to go up against this big old dangerous sword.  It will judge you, and it is dangerous, and here is the thing... you cannot beat it.   We all lose against this great sword, but here is where you need courage and trust. 

This sword is used to help us feel remorse for our imperfect self.  It helps bring us to the point where forgiveness can be had.  The sword is for you.  Used for a purpose.  It is used to humble you , so you can be on the road to the new and better you.

Don't be afraid of the sword,  Trust trust trust.  You will not win against the sword no matter what you do.  YOU DO HAVE TO GO UP AGAINST IT though. 

That is the story told so long ago.  We all are filled with a sword, and perhaps we like to turn it toward others to make ourselves feel better, but we have to go up against it by ourselves.  You vs. the sword. 

A losing battle the whole way, but it is the path where you find victory.  Running this race in such a way to win means you have to do some scary, humbling, brave stuff.  You have to be like the David and Goliath story.  Little you up against this big old dangerous thing, and guess what???    You win.  

How???   I toll toll toll you all is possible.   :)
