Title means once again not really sure what to write. So let's start with the run. Well wait, let's start with the bike to work. It was actually pretty chilly out, I wore a windbreaker to work. The sky was clear, and there was a crescent moon I could see clear as day. That was pretty cool. Anyway the clear skies made me think nothing of rain, but it did rain a bit yesterday. Not a ton, but a real light rain. A light rain I biked home in, and a light rain I ran in. Now today I am doing track work, so I just went for a short 4.25. Hold on let me log it. I have absolutely no idea the pace yet. brb. Map my run was weird so took a bit longer than usual. 8:48 pace. I know I know why do I go through the trouble of saying pace??? No reason, I have just always done that. Method to my madness??? No!! No method just madness. Ha ha!!! just kidding. :)
So things really seem different to me now then say a week or so ago. No clue why it happened, I go on my promise from my post yesterday, and don't really stress about it. I mean many of you know a lot of my story, so all my days have not been sunny days that is for sure. Now I have a promise, and I just see where that takes "us" :)
Thoughts aren't totally clear on everything, so I don't stress about it. I wait and see what happens. No use forcing the issue. Gonna enjoy my time as much as possible.
Okay just a few more things. I said I was going to run with the Tuesday night crew last night. After work, I was like screw that. I can get my run in early, and be done with it. Lisa and I relaxed the rest of the evening. Her = sleeping relax. Me = listening to music relax. Me = love Avril Lavigne right now. :) She rocks!! After I am done with this I am going to listen to some of her youtube videos. Don't try and stop me!!!
Only thing today is track workout. I will probably do the same one as last week.
That is it!!!
Take Care!!!! :)
Almost forgot...... EEEEEEEK!!!
Love you all!!!
xo's!!! :)
Have a Great Day!!! :)
p.s. I never know where I am going to put my smiley faces on my signature line!!! Just do whatever I feel. Ha ha!!!
Have a good one!! Oh, and no way in hell am I even going to think of doing a 200!! another day. Probably embarrass all of you anyway with how fast I am. Ha ha!!! j/k
p.p.s Had a couple glasses of brandy post-workout. part of the relaxing. :)

Bad Blogger Bad Blogger!!!
Not really, but I blog almost every day, and I missed twice I think last week. Yesterday was due to the Blackhawks. I don't stay up and watch the games on tv, but I woke up during the 2nd half, and was kind of glued. No reason, we started the 3rd period up 5-2, and I stayed up and watched. Flipped back and forth to the NBA game too. Pretty exciting.
I am different now. I was different last year. I know this, because I did not watch every single second of the TDF. I already know I will not watch every single World Cup game, I can get on my tv. I am happy to check yahoo sports in the morning.
That reminds me of a time pre-hospital. Everything was great for a time. I was on top of the world, and then boom, I was brought low. It is one of the things that make me different. I have been different for a long time. Different since before the hospital. I see things different and I think about things different. I think spiritually all the time. My eyes are in my head. I am observant to my surroundings, especially with everything... how do you explain.... on high alert.
I still see many robins... my bird of faith. It still makes me feel good. I think I misinterpreted why the robin was the bird of faith during my summer of discontent (pre-hospital). I only know the real reason now. I only shared with Gina. Let's just say we see things similarly in a way where not all would understand, and perhaps many would think we are nuts!! So I don't share everything, but as you can see a little is coming out at a time. I thought I needed the bloggers to help me with this, but guess not.
My truth is a bit different than yours. Mine was my journey pre-hospital. When I was angry, and told to go solo, I asked why. I got the answer, and that is what this time is for. We each continue on our way. Enjoy it as much as possible, and realize God is overlooking so what bad can happen? There are tough days I guess, and it makes it seem like God isn't there, but he is.
Good luck, we each embark on a journey now.
Oh yeah, yesterday 6.2 miles @ 9:01 pace. legs felt a bit sluggish, but I am going running with the Tuesday night crew on Lakeshore. Final pre- 5K speedwork tomorrow too. Busy Busy. House is a mess too. Amazing how that happens. :) @ Lisa and Brian, and that whole side of the family have stuff they are dealing with now. Health in both parents is not good. Hailey just graduated H.S. sort of, (still has to do a month of stuff #skinofherteeth) :) has a boyfriend, and she is dealing with more health issues from her real father's side.
I don't know everyone's journey like I said, but I know my ending of this particular part. I have known it since well before the hospital. I wasn't really sure how to get there, but all the seemingly bad things I did in God's eyes were for a reason. It was for the hospital, last summer, and this summer. My righteousness in his eyes comes from my faith, not actually any righteousness of my own. With help I overcame right after/ before the deleting of the Journey. Now my final one I give up all for God. I have help, the one who overcame centuries ago. He overcame so my journey is assured. Takes a lot of the stress off. Especially the promise that all that happens will be for good. I received that a month or two ago, so I don't stress about too much. Let's just say that. :)
Like I said good luck. Learn a lot, see a lot, and may you have many many many sunny days. You will have some rainy days. Sorry about that, but those are necessary. Realize I have had my fair share, and yet I still laugh a lot. Wish I could make them easier, but they are for the greater good. :)
best wishes!!! :)
Love you all!!!

Rainy Day, But Not A Personal Rainy Day!!
So, I don't always know what I am going to write. Today is no different. Maybe I shouldn't write anything today, because honestly I have no idea where this will lead. Let's see!!
Yesterday after my blog entry I realized I felt a lot better than the day before. I still have no idea why I was so tired on Friday. I slept enough, but was just off. It was really weird. Yesterday was full. Came in touch with a bunch of people who really are a part of my life. A part of my history. I said on a H.S. friend's wall, I think God gives us a billion things to look at each day, and if we are lucky we see 1-2, and think about it. It was one of those days for me, but it was a sunny day for me so I wasn't too reflective. Rainy days make us reflective, and more open to listen to God's voice. Hmmm!! God's voice is kind of a scary thought huh??
Yesterday was sunny for me, but I came in contact with a bunch of people. On my 12 mile run I stopped at Beau's about 2 miles into it, as I realized I did not have enough water for 12 miles. We talked a bit. His daughter Jill was there, and Seth's daughter Maleeja too. No idea how to spell that.
About 5 miles into the run I saw two ladies from my tri- swim thing from last summer riding their bikes. Nice ladies. About 9 miles into the run I stopped. I never stop on solo runs, but I thought why not. I stretched. I did the downward dog... thought of Yogini blogger... Ha ha!! I stretched hammies, groin, calves you name it.
When home I cut the grass. My brother and his kids are in town for Hailey's graduation. I then sat outside. Jacob stopped by, we had a few beers. He is realizing how Fatherhood is changing his life. A little less freedom. Fatherhood was never my thing, because freedom was my thing. That being said Hailey had a pretty easy life growing up with Lisa and I, because we love each other, and we never fight. Our few fights were really about her anyway. I mean we have had financial troubles, but I don't really stress about that stuff.
My good friend Rick owns the house next to us. He lives in Florida now, but his ex-partner David came by, because some work needs to be done. He stopped by for a bit, and we talked. He didn't have time for a beer, but it was good to see him. I gave him a hug goodbye.
Jeff Stark and @tandumrider stopped by with Dan and Linda for a cookout. It rained. It was a nice rain. We listened to youtube videos out in the garage while the non-tweeters were inside. :) O.K. Brandon doesn't tweet!! Ha ha!!
Life is full of stuff. Some good some bad. It is good to see it all. The rainy days are hard, but it helps us hear, and helps us see.
My wish for all is the rainy days are few. I hope you all learn a lot, see a lot, experience a lot.
A full day yesterday!!! Who knew??? :)
Love you all!!!

Friday = Friday
I was absolutely beat yesterday at work. I have no idea why. I mean tired-tired. It was A Thursday = Friday tired from after a hard track workout and 37 seconds of sleep to recover from it. No idea why that was. Sooooooo needless to say I have to cut the grass today. :) I swear I will get it done don't you worry about it one bit. Consider it basically done!! I think my brother is coming up, so I'll have his son Brandon do it. :) Hee Hee!! I'll then make Marilynn clean the house. John I'll just have him pull his hair out, as I have Fox News parental blocked on my TV. HAHAHAHAHAA!!!
So Yesterday since I had absolutely no energy, and didn't want to take a nap, I bought a little bottle of Brandy, listened to music, and hung out. It was really like a Weekday in February kind of day to me...except I hung outside instead of inside. Just one of those days I guess. That stuff happens though, so I guess we just deal with them as best we can. :)
Today is coffee, 12-miler. When I am not really training for anything long I like to keep my long days at least 12 miles....for whatever reason. Marathon training won't start for a couple weeks. I'll already be at 16 miles for long runs!!! WOOT!!!! I have a pretty good base I think, as I have run a lot (for me) this year, and the legs feel great so we'll see what happens. I am one week out from my 5K. I am pretty stoked about that, as it seems I may get that little dragon off my back!!! :) Rest of the year is pretty easy. I need to P.R. a 10K, shouldn't be a problem. I may pick up a 15K in Muskegon. I'll have to check and see when that is. Then the Marathon. Oh yeah a half marathon too, but that will be part of the training, so that shouldn't be a big deal. Marathon pace the first 10 miles, then attack!!! :) SHIT, I am going to do the Bix 7 too. 7 miler P.R. too. Woo Hoo!! Only did that race once and was behind a bunch of walkers, so that should be easy.
Hmmmmm my Saturday seems brighter already!!! :)
Love you all!!!! :)

Not Much On My Mind
Really there isn't, but I blog almost every day anyway right, so guess I'll just see where this takes me. I follow my heart. These days I trust it. If it is anger, if it is happy, whatever. Whatever my heart feels I feel that is a good direction I am in. I don't tell all things about myself. I don't tell all the things I think about, but who does right? I think of a lot of things.
Here are some thoughts. The American dream is false. No such thing. Our Economic system is set up in a bad way, although I don't know a better one. A mixture of socialism and capitalism would be the best I assume. A balance between the two. Side too heavily on capitalism, and you end up with a depression. We started siding too heavily with Reagan... again. Not that he is at fault, but an inertia develops, and the people don't know what they started.
I think we think men in suits must be smart right? They start wars though. They must know better right, but God allows you to find wisdom in nature. You can be wearing flip flops and shorts. That which we see deceives us. We can deceive ourselves. There is truth in nature, for this is not man made. Even an atheist trusts in that which can be viewed in nature. Our Economic system has us thinking of paying bills, getting ahead, etc... In these trying times one must be careful right? We learned via Enron, and the bust of 2000, and the bust of 2007 a lot can be lost very quickly.
A point?? not really. I have worked hard at my job, since 1994. Tough to get ahead, and you realize it does get harder to make ends meet. Expenses go up, but wages don't keep pace. I am not whining, I really could give a crap honestly speaking, but it is the truth. People these days are enslaved to crappy jobs, and houses under water, and making ends meet. A lot don't have time to enjoy the world.
You know what marvels me the most? In our neighborhood you rarely see people outside. Give me a beer, some music, and let me look at the trees. I'll find some solace outside. I'll think of funny things, sad things, but I will see things I cannot make myself, and that no man can make. Pretty neat I think.
Well whatever, who knows what the heck I am writing about. I am reading "The Catcher In The Rye" again. It is funny as hell, but I feel sad for the main character his brother died at a young age of leukemia. You can see him dealing with it in his own way. I think perhaps it is autobiographical, but not 100% sure.
Okay, whatever, I am just rambling on probably. :)
Yesterday 4.25 miles @ 8:31 pace. Today I will just bike some, and have to cut the stupid grass. It is like 1000 feet long due to the rain. I may be getting close to see what are weeds and what aren't in our garden too. I'll have to check it out.
cya
xo's :)
One more thing I thought of yesterday. My world around me is pretty big. The world revolves around me in my mind. I am arrogant. I know I really am just a particle of sand in this universe, but my mind isn't there yet. I am not perfect I know that, but I believe in my direction.
Okay guess that is it.

We Are Different
I want to see how. I don't want to know what you think people would like to view you as, I wanna know who you are. That is what being open and honest is. It is throwing yourself out there.
Who is Joe/Josephine Normal I should be like them?? There is no normal. We are all different. We think about different things, and we see different things. We are all unique flowers in God's eye, so let the uniqueness out.
Through all our differences we will get to see some pretty cool stuff.
I get irritated when I read stuff you think people wanna hear.
Wanna know what I want to read again?
"A Catcher in The Rye"-- It was all that. It was funny, it was crazy, it was sad, and it was life. best damn blog I ever read... except for mine. Ha Ha!!! j/k
Track Workout last night:
400-400-400-800 @1 minute rest-- Repeat 2 times
My Times:
I walked around the track once, and rode my bike home. I get lazy with my warm ups and cool downs, when I don't run with the group. I did do the mile warm up though. 9:02 pace.
That is it!!!

8 = 4.25
Woke up early yesterday, as it was a Monday. I was getting ready to run, and realized I am tired. I went back to bed til 9:00 am. Gotta like Holiday Weekends. I am anti-war as almost anyone. Memorial Day Weekend?? Well we have soldiers who gave their lives, and so do other countries. I personally don't think an American life is worth any more than a Saudi life, or a Pakistani, or whatever. We all choose our professions, or are led in certain directions. I am sure I'll step on some toes here, but I am glad I have been led in such a way as to not give "The Man" any say in when I can and cannot die.
History is ugly with war, and I don't like any of it. In our history we thought the red man was less than deserving of any kind of life and we really didn't think the black man was all that great. A lot of U.S. citizens aren't too fond of the brown man, and the overseas brown man. They all must answer to God. I many times am thankful I don't have to answer to many people, as God doesn't judge me, although people sometimes do. I judge myself. I have judged myself many times in my life. I judge myself guilty of all. I am as unrighteous as anyone. I am faithful though. I was faithful before the hospital and faithful after.
As with Adam and all the prophets it was faith he reckoned as righteousness, not righteousness. We all fail, and we all fall short. Me as much as anyone, and really even more so. A man or women's righteousness is nothing in God's eyes. His or her faith is everything. I believed before the hospital, and the 18 or whatever years after. There was a little dead time. Not much going on. I believed still. It started up last summer, and continues til this day.
I could show you all with the Bible, but I don't use it for that purpose. God doesn't want me to.
I shortened my list!!
It was so freaking hot out yesterday when I ran, my intended 8 miles = 4.25. around 8:40 pace I think. Today I take the day off from running. Tomorrow is a hard track workout.
That is it!!
